Welcome to Dreamland Reads, operated by Apex Dynamics LLC ("Dreamland Reads," "we," "our," or "us"). These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, apps, digital books, memberships, and related features (collectively, the "Service").

By creating an account, purchasing a membership or Gold Coins, or downloading any content, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1) Key Definitions

Account: Your registered user profile used to access the Service.
Premium Membership: A paid, auto-renewing subscription providing access to member features.
Gold Coins ("Coins"): Virtual tokens that can be earned or purchased and redeemed for in-Service features (e.g., unlocking books).
Content: Our downloadable digital books (PDFs), images, text, audio, and other materials.

2) Who May Use Dreamland Reads

You must be 13 years or older to create an Account.
Users aged 13–17 must have parental/guardian consent and supervision.
We do not collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe we have such information, please contact us (see "Support") and we will remove it.

3) Your Account

You agree to provide accurate information and keep your login secure. You are responsible for all activity on your Account. We may suspend or terminate Accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law.

4) What the Service Provides

Digital books (PDF downloads) for personal, non-commercial use only.
No redistribution, public display, resale, or commercial use unless you have our written authorization.
At this time we do not sell physical products. We may add additional digital products and online services in the future (see "Future Services & Beta Features").

We may modify, pause, or discontinue any feature at any time with or without notice.

5) Premium Memberships & Billing

Price & Currency. Premium Memberships are charged in USD. Taxes may apply based on your location.

Billing Platform. Payments are processed via Stripe (a third-party provider). Your use of Stripe is subject to Stripe's own terms and policies.

Auto-Renewal & Recurring Billing (US disclosure). By starting a Premium Membership, you authorize us to charge your payment method automatically at the beginning of each billing period until you cancel. We will clearly disclose the price and renewal interval at checkout.

No Free Trial. We do not offer a free trial at this time.

Cancellation. You can cancel anytime before your next billing day. After cancellation, your Premium Membership continues until the end of the current paid period and then will not renew. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods unless required by law.

Price/Terms Changes. We may change pricing or terms for future periods. We will notify you in advance (e.g., via the Service or email, if provided). Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

6) Gold Coins (Virtual Items)

How You Get Coins.

Earned through daily logins, in-Service gifts, games, tasks, and other promotions we may run; and/or
Purchased at US$4.99 per Coin (price subject to change for future purchases).

Using Coins. Coins can be redeemed for eligible in-Service features (e.g., unlocking a book). Specific redemption options and amounts may change over time.

No Cash Value; Non-Refundable. Coins have no cash value, are non-refundable, and cannot be redeemed for money or transferred outside the Service. They do not expire. We may deduct or withhold Coins in cases of suspected fraud, abuse, chargebacks, or policy violation.

Promotions & Sharing. Incentivized sharing or tasks must comply with applicable anti-spam and platform rules. We may void Coins earned through abuse or violation of third-party terms.

7) Downloads & Usage Rules

Personal License. When you download a PDF, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to download and use it for personal, non-commercial purposes only.
Prohibited Uses. You may not copy, redistribute, resell, upload elsewhere, remove watermarks/DRM, or create derivative works without our written consent.
Schools/Commercial Use. Educators, libraries, or organizations seeking broader use should contact us for permission.

8) Intellectual Property

All Content and materials on the Service are owned by Dreamland Reads (Apex Dynamics LLC) or our licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. Except for the limited license above, no rights are transferred to you.

If you submit feedback, ideas, or suggestions, you grant us a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use them without obligation to you.

9) Future Services & Beta Features

We may introduce additional digital products and online services (e.g., new content formats, interactive features, virtual characters, or educational tools). Some features may be marked as beta or experimental, offered as-is, and subject to change or removal. Your use of future services will be governed by these Terms (and any additional posted terms) at that time.

10) Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Violate any law, or infringe third-party rights;
Attempt to access others' Accounts or interfere with the Service;
Use bots, scrapers, or automated means to access or download Content;
Upload malware or engage in fraud, deception, or spam;
Circumvent security or access controls.

We may monitor and enforce compliance, and we may suspend or terminate your access for violations.

11) Availability & Maintenance

The Service (and specific books or features) may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or outages. We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.

12) Refunds

Except where required by law, all sales are final and non-refundable, including Premium Membership fees, Coins, and digital downloads.

13) Third-Party Services

The Service may reference or integrate third-party services (e.g., Stripe). We are not responsible for third-party terms, policies, content, or availability. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk.

14) Privacy

We operate children-appropriate content; however, Accounts are for users 13+ (with parental consent where required). We do not collect personal data from children under 13. For details on what data we do collect and how we use it, please see our Privacy Policy (to be posted). Where required, we will present appropriate notices and obtain consents.

15) Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your Account (with or without notice) if you violate these Terms, misuse the Service, or if we discontinue the Service. Upon termination, your license to Content ends, and you must stop using and delete any Content that is not permitted to be retained under these Terms.

16) Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service and Content are provided "as is" and "as available." We disclaim all warranties (express or implied), including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that Content will meet your expectations.

17) Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dreamland Reads and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (a) your use of or inability to use the Service; (b) any conduct or content of any third party; or (c) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amounts you paid to us for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, the above limitations apply to the fullest extent permitted.

18) Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Dreamland Reads, its affiliates, and personnel from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your: (a) use of the Service; (b) violation of these Terms; or (c) infringement of any rights of another person or entity.

19) Governing Law & Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the courts of Dubai, UAE for any dispute, except where local law prohibits such selection.

20) Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on the Service with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.

21) Electronic Communications & Notices

You consent to receive communications from us electronically (e.g., in-app notices, website banners, or email if provided). Notices are deemed given when posted or sent.

Auto-Renewal Acknowledgment (US & similar jurisdictions)

By purchasing a Premium Membership, you affirmatively consent to automatic, recurring charges to your payment method until you cancel. You can cancel anytime before your next billing day; your access continues through the end of your current paid period. No refunds for partial periods unless required by law.
